Card applicant** must be 18+. Any age is allowed to get a BHPL library card.

Applicant must have Photo ID and a piece of recently dated mail to confirm the address.

Patrons with a valid Benton Harbor Library card, St. Joseph Library or Lincoln Twp card, or MILibrary home library can checkout a wide variety of materials and items from both the Junior and Adult Departments. If you do not have a library card, you can still borrow select materials. Ask a staff member to identify those collections.
