Building access
  • only a total of 10 patrons allowed in the building at a time, upstairs junior department currently closed to the public.

Materials access
  • Patrons may browse stacks as they follow marked guidelines, in house library card application and renewal.

Computer access
  • Appointment preferred, only 60 minutes (1 hour) access per patron.

Wireless Internet
  • Accessible from outside. Please use social distancing when around other individuals.

  • Yearly service offered during tax season. This is a first come, first served service. TAX PREP IS DONE BY NON-LIBRARY VOLUNTEERS.

Children's Play Area - !currently unavailable!
  • Located in the children's department, parents can supervise their children as they play with various toys and activities, using library voices and etiquette.

Auditorium Meeting Space - !currently unavailable!
  • For an hourly fee, you can rent out our Auditorium meeting space.*

Material Checkout - see COVID Services
  • Patrons with a Benton Harbor Library card can checkout a wide variety of materials and items from both the Children's and Adult Departments. If you do not have a library card, there are still books that can be borrowed. Just ask a librarian for "N/C books"!
