Updates this month at the Library
General Updates-
The library's current hours of operation have moved from 10:00AM-5:30PM M-F (Sat being closed) to 10:00AM-6:00PM M-F with Sat open from 10:00AM-3:00PM.
Seating is now available in both the Adult Department and the Junior Department. Please check with staff, or visit our Services Department for more information.

Junior Department-
A new FunBundle is available for pick up; a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day themed craft with lesson plan.
The Teen Pathfinder club has disbanded. Thank you to everyone who participated!
New Displays in the Teen Department:
Read Until the End: Find a new favorite at the end of the alphabet! (selected by the author's last name). Some titles include Dear Justyce by Nic Stone, A Time to Dance by Padama Venkatraman, The Rise of Kyoshi by F.C. Yee, and many more!
Best Teen books of 2021: a curated list from several online book lists including Barnes & Nobel. Some titles include Skin of the Sea by Natasha Bowen, You've reached Sam by Dustin Thao, Any Way the Wind Blows by Rainbow Rowell, and many more!
New Displays in the Children Department:
Black History and MLK Day books, including Have I ever Told You Black Lives matter by Shani M. King, Brave. Black. First. by Cheryl Hudson, and Martin's Dream Day by Kitty Kelly. These displays will be up until the end of February.
Valentine's Day books, including Pete the Cat's Groovy Guide to Love by James Dean, Ruby Valentine and the Sweet Surprise by Laurie Friedman, and the Legend of the Valentine by Katherine G. Bond. This display will be up until the end of February.
Adult Department-
People in Benton Harbor city and township in need of tax assistance can now call the Library and leave their information with the adult department front desk, who will then hand your information over to FREE volunteer tax prep agents.
