We encourage children, teens and parents to come in ANYTIME. Be creative and express yourself at the Library.
Fun things to do include:
1. Find a good book (or comic or magazine), grab a comfortable chair, and READ!
2. Use the materials in the creativity cart to make fun projects and artwork.
3. Get on a computer (you may be on a computer for 1/2-1 hour, and please remember that computers close 1/2 hour before closing).
4. Young children can get on one of our two "early literacy" computers to play lots of fun learning games.
5. Play with puzzles, puppets, and blocks. Play chess or checkers. Color and draw.
6. Listen to a book on tape or CD at the Listening Station. (We just received a donation of a new CD player with headphones from one of our favorite families!)
7. Children, ages 6 and older, may get their own library card by bringing a parent with them to the Library to apply (the parent must have ID with current address). Younger children can check out on their parent's card. Kids can check out books, magazines, graphic novels, and comics. Adults can check out these items and also CDs, audiobooks, DVDs, and videos on their cards. We have a large Parent/Teacher section as well.
8.Attend any of the programs we provide.
